Entre ombre et lumi\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musee-jacquemart-andre.com\/fr\/georges-tour?srsltid=AfmBOoryW-oSckWESqFQZY9x5Pk0rgCHr_A7_dIpT3YcxBF_EKLnO8Rs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00ab\u00a0Georges de La Tour. Entre ombre et lumi\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb<\/a> est le titre relativement convenu de la rare r\u00e9trospective que le mus\u00e9e Jacquemart-Andr\u00e9 consacre \u00e0 ce peintre n\u00e9 tout \u00e0 la fin du XVI<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle et mort en 1652. Georges de La Tour a v\u00e9cu l\u2019essentiel de sa vie en Lorraine, qui \u00e9tait alors encore un duch\u00e9 catholique ind\u00e9pendant, situ\u00e9 entre la France et le Saint-Empire.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que sa carri\u00e8re f\u00fbt couronn\u00e9e de succ\u00e8s et qu\u2019il travaill\u00e2t pour de grands collectionneurs, dans l\u2019entourage des ducs de Lorraine puis \u00e0 la cour de France sous le r\u00e8gne de Louis XIII, il tomba dans un oubli presque complet pendant plusieurs si\u00e8cles, avant d\u2019\u00eatre red\u00e9couvert par les historien\u00b7nes de l\u2019art au XX<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle. Aujourd\u2019hui, il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un ma\u00eetre du clair-obscur et un peintre attentif \u00e0 sublimer par la lumi\u00e8re les visages et les gestes des pauvres qu\u2019il peignit autant que les saint\u00b7es et les grands de l\u2019\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n<p>Le commissariat de cette exposition, qui rassemble une trentaine de tableaux sur les \u00e0 peine plus de quarante originaux connus de Georges de La Tour, est sign\u00e9 de l\u2019historienne de l\u2019art Gail Faigenbaum et de Pierre Curie, conservateur du mus\u00e9e Jacquemart-Andr\u00e9. Tisser l\u2019espace\u00a0\u00bb<\/a> constitue la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9trospective en France que la Bourse de commerce-Collection Pinault consacre, en cette rentr\u00e9e et jusqu\u2019au mois de janvier 2026, \u00e0 cette figure de l\u2019avant-garde br\u00e9silienne.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9e en 1927 et morte en 2004 \u00e0 Rio de Janeiro, Lygia Pape a multipli\u00e9 les pratiques artistiques dans sa vie\u00a0: gravures abstraites, livres-objets, films exp\u00e9rimentaux, performances, installations ou sculptures aussi magn\u00e9tiques que cin\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n<p>Lygia Pape a aussi travaill\u00e9 comme graphiste. Elle a produit des affiches de film et m\u00eame aussi l\u2019identit\u00e9 visuelle d\u2019une c\u00e9l\u00e8bre marque de biscuits au Br\u00e9sil.
